Mr & Mrs Pickering

Jessica & Jay were married on 29 March 2025!

The new Mr & Mrs Pickering booked me as their photographer for the wedding at Village Hotel Cheadle, which was a beautiful day from start to finish!

We started the day with a few pre-ceremony photos, with the girls getting ready & the boys posing with their incredible car for the day

Jessica & Jay planned something we’ve been seeing more and more often - a groom & groomsmen entrance! The boys walked into the ceremony to “The Boys Are Back In Town” with a flower-man scattering petals, of course.

The bridal party followed and then Jessica & Jay became husband and wife!

The newlyweds opted to go straight outside for confetti after the ceremony, then a big group photo. They then took a break to chat to guests before we started some more formal portraits of the bridal party. This is something I always recommend to my clients! Doing it this way means you get to soak it all in after you’ve got married, plus talk to everyone, instead of going straight into photos!

The wedding breakfast began with speeches, emotional speeches from family members and some particularly memorable moments from the stag do mentioned by the best man.

The evening began with the first dance and cake cutting, and ended with the whole wedding party dancing the night away.

I have been a photographer at Cheadle Village Hotel weddings for several weddings over the past few years now, and I can always recommend here as a friendly wedding venue.
